Pastoral Care

In addition to the pastoral care of the ministry team and elders, there is a Pastoral care group that visits the elderly in their own homes and in the Residential and Nursing Homes in the area, delivering flowers following Sunday worship.

A member of our Bereavement team seeks to visit the homes of those bereaved over a period of months following their loss.

A Hospital team provides follow up visits for those home from hospital.

In addition every member is encouraged to be the ‘good samaritan’ to others, regardless of creed or class.

The Sunday Services are recorded and CDs/DVDs made available to members who are unable to attend. These are delivered by members of the Pastoral team and others within the congregation.

A church magazine provides a contact with all the families of the congregation three times a year.

Special Needs

Here at Greenwell Street we strive to include everyone. There is wheelchair access at both entrances. Anyone with a hearing aid can make use of our induction loop. There are hymn sheets with large print provided.

Church Library

The library is always open with a great range of theology, commentaries, mission, biography and fiction with new titles being added on a regular basis. It is currently being managed by Colin Kennedy.
